This has absolutely nothing to do with Marketing, Advertising, or Design... but it is super cool and a little creepy.

On Wednesday, two independent teams of wicked-smart scientists announced that they have built microscopic robots from DNA molecules that can walk, follow instructions, and work together to assemble things much like the machinery of living cells. 

Did you ever see that Star Trek episode where these little suckers went all Che Guvera and took over the ship and tried to kill everyone?

Yeah, me neither. 

Anyway, nano robots could have a massive impact on society, specifically in the field of medicine. Take HV, for example. After more than a quarter century there is no cure and no vaccine. Why? Because our bodies are unable to detect the virus since it encases itself in sugar. Same goes for medicines. Until now, all we can do is attack the process by which HIV replicates, but not the virus itself. Now, imagine you have these crafty little buggers that can be programmed to hunt down HIV in the bloodstream, and take it out. Like little nano-terminators.
